Tourism in Malta is highly complex and it takes experienced professionals to navigate it properly. Luckily, the Institute of Tourism, Travel and Culture within the University of Malta have recently published research that focuses on a number of key areas and themes, trying to shed light and clarify these topics and arguments.
The book, TOURISM AND THE MALTESE ISLANDS, is edited by George Cassar and Marie Avellino with contributors from various leading tourism researchers such as Godfrey Baldacchino, Karsten Xuereb, Simon Caruana, Jim Butcher, Marie-Louise Mangion, Lino P. Briguglio, John Ebejer, Andrew Jones, Dr Julian Zarb, Dane Munro, Noel Buttigieg amongst others. After finishing the book I believe this a must read for current Tourism Professionals and policy makers and influencers alike.
